Who I Am
Hey guys! My name is Darrian Dupree! I am an outgoing, loving, ambitious and creative young woman—currently trying to survive in this nursing world. Some of you may be wondering, who is The Klassic Nurse? And I’m here to show you a peek into the world that is well………..me!
The Klassic Nurse blog was created to inspire young women and men who are either student nurse new grads or even seasoned nurses to follow the journey of someone just like them. When I was 14, I decided I wanted to be a nurse. By the time I was 19, I knew I wanted to work in women’s services. After my OB rotation, I decided I wanted to become a labor and delivery nurse with the hopes of furthering my education to become a women’s health nurse practitioner/certified nurse midwife. Currently I’m working as an ortho/neuro/med surg nurse for experience until I can obtain a labor and delivery position before going back to school to follow my dreams. Although I mostly will discuss nursing topics, I will still highlight my love for travel, fashion, friends and family. I will also share my passions and tips to living a healthy and spiritual lifestyle!

The Klassic Nurse blog is a creative outlet for myself and anyone who wants to follow my journey and believes in the power of positivity. I believe that the spirit of positivity helps you succeed and having a support system is the key to prosperity. You will see my support system displayed all the time.
